Avalanche Sports is a hard-core, independent, full-service rental and retail ski, board and bike shop. There are two convenient locations on both ends of town. The North Store is a few short steps from the gondola; the South Store (main location) is in the thick of it by the Peak 9 base. Both have plenty of free parking, and open early and close late each day. Pricing is competitive and rental equipment is current and well maintained.
