One of the Longest Ski Seasons
Nestled in a beautiful valley in the magnificent eastern slopes of California's High Sierra, Mammoth is surrounded by snow covered mountain peaks and glittering alpine meadows.
Mammoth -- no other mountain lives up to its name. It is an enormous resort with 28 lifts, 3,500 acres of skiable terrain and 3,100 feet of vertical. Three gondolas, two six packs, and nine high speed quads are just a few this playground offers.
Your search for the endless winter is over. With over 400" of annual snowfall, thousands of acres of epic terrain and an altitude that keeps things white into summer, Mammoth turns winter into a 6+ month season. Not bad considering most resorts are golf courses by April. And with our state-of-the-art lifts and gondolas and a variety of runs for all skill levels (including seven terrain parks) Mammoth Mountain embodies all that you love about winter.
It's easy to get to Mammoth by car, plane or bus. No matter which direction you come from, it's a scenic drive via Interstate Highway 395.
