Hola Amigos, I want to tell you a little of our historia. Like many other stories it begins like so:
Once upon a time in a small town in Mexico, Doña Conchita sold delicious traditional Mexican food from her house. All the townspeople and even people from the surrounding areas would come to enjoy her wonderful recipes. Mi amigo Levy and I were forced to work like “burros” in her kitchen, but we had a dream of coming to “El otro lado” the United States of America. One day when Doña Conchita was taking a “siesta” we escaped from her kitchen, I turned to mi amigo Levy and said “This is our chance to get away” and so we ran like “bandidos”.
When we finally got to the US a friend asked us if we were hungry, we told him “Of course we are we’ve traveled very far!” He took us to a “Mexican restaurant”, my god I couldn’t believe what I was tasting, this isn’t real Mexican food I said to myself. The days pass by, we tried one restaurant after another but couldn’t find anything like what we used to cook, so finally one day I said to my friend Levy “Hey Compadre “Los Gringos” (Americans) don’t know what they’re missing, we could offer them a taste of Mexico that they won’t soon forget!” So we decided to open an authentic Mexican restaurant where we serve the delicious meals you enjoy today.
